Friday, March 5th, 2010Business Modeling Questions?
I will create a model agency, I understand the whole thing, except one thing. How do I find clients? I read that you send portfolios to individual customers, inviting them to dinner, etc., to have a relationship with them, but my question is. Imagine Procter & Gamble wants to make a TV ad and needs models which deals with this in the company, Procter & Gamble does not take care of cast iron or not? If I want P & G To my client How should they be addressed? Who do I talk to have more chances to choose my models? If Please give me any tips that you know. Thank you!
With a great company like Procter & Gamble, you would not normally go directly through their office – you want to go through advertising agencies as they are registered. It is usually advertising agency who are responsible for creative direction and flow of television and print advertisements. A company as large as P & G has many agencies advertising based on the division, the type of media, target audience, etc. Their main agencies are Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis and Gray, but they also use D'Arcy, Arnold / McGrath and other agencies for special projects. Most of their brands have their own agencies your modeling agency will also be located in the city where they produce their commercials – mostly New York, Chicago or Los Angeles. It would be best to target agencies advertising that they are the ones who are usually booking models for marketing of consumer products.
