gambling family support
In-law/family problems?
I need not go into much detail, but me and my husband moved in with my in-laws so that we can find a house and we could help keep them (we paid in 1800 on their mortgage bc they would lose the house). They had a gambling problem for about 5 years we have tried to help, but they think they DONT have a problem. ANYWAYS: We found a house. But the problem is they have not paid the bills while we are here and we were supporting their habit. We let them borrow my husbands gas money (it spends 800 per month on gas for now) and they have spent. It was a very bad idea all around. They are making it very uncomfortable here, telling us they want us to pay the bills before we leave. My husband said no and it may take a week or two for us to enter the house. Arent They talk to me and they are rude. How do I deal with this for an entire week? I can not tell them about her too uncomfortable.
In-law issues are always the worst. Sorry to hear that these people are bad, but like any addiction, they all think that his elses problem and not theirs. Anyway, I just want to overcome the crisis and when you leave, close to cut all links and dont talk until they get the help they need. Who is at least what I would do.
